Gifting
Send books as digital or physical gifts.
Any published book on Bitbook can be purchased as a gift. Choose between digital delivery (instant) or a printed physical copy shipped to the recipient.
Digital gifts
When you send a digital gift, the recipient gets an email with a link to open their book. The process:
1. Purchase a book and select "Send as gift"
2. Enter the recipient's email and an optional personal note
3. The recipient receives an email invitation
4. They sign in (or create an account) and the book appears in their library
Digital gifts include an unwrapping animation and display your personal note before revealing the book.
Physical gifts
Physical gifts ship a printed copy of the book to the recipient. Each physical gift includes:
A printed book in the selected format (hardcover, softcover, etc.)
A QR code inside the book linking to the digital version
Optional gift card with your personal message
The recipient gets both the physical book and digital access through the QR code.
